Overview: Steven Matrix was a hitman, until someone got the drop on him. Suspended between Heaven and Hell, the forces that be send him back to Earth to do their bidding. Each episode Matrix is guided to someone in need of help. Matrix is guided to this person by some mysterious person from the In-Between. In the process, Matrix begins to redeem his own bloodsoaked past as well.

To perform his assignment, Matrix takes on a job for a mobster named Mazetti who wants Chris Lucano and his family dead. He offers the father deal to let him live if he helps him in his assignment.
